ABOUT ARA & CELI
Legendary Beings Ara & Celi is about a young girl, Miyara, who is chosen to be the successor to a specific line of Angels – headed by none other than Ara–and with it, duties that extend beyond the physical world. Only one problem: Miyara has no desire to do the job! What will happen then, especially with Celi, Ara’s counterpart, is intent on causing chaos in her life?!
Rating: anyone can read this, but 12+ just for safety’s sake.
Genre: Magical girls/action/adventure

WHAT IS NOT ARA & CELI
Ara & Celi is not a comic made to spread or preach any religious biases, preferences or teachings. A&C is also not a comic made to favor one religion over the other (or lack thereof.) The comic merely uses these elements for storytelling purposes, akin to series like Kamikaze Kaitou Jeanne and Promethea.
If the presence of religious symbols and beings such as angels, devils and exactly one (1) jinn bothers or traumatizes you, then it is best to seek another venue of entertainment, (and may you be well!)
ABOUT NAAN, WHO IS NOT AN INDIAN BREAD
Originally from Puerto Rico, NAAN now resides in the Midwest. Fluent in Spanish and English, she graduated from Iowa State University in 2011 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Linguistics with Russian Studies and a Bachelor’s in German. As of 2018, she also now holds a Master’s in Graphic Design from the same university.
None of this has helped her in being a constructive citizen of society in terms of jobs or as an asset to other people at all, but it doesn’t stop her from learning more languages or making more comics!
Currently working on Legendary Beings Ara & Celi full-time but is also doing planning with two other stories to be published in the future. You can read her other comics here and here.
